The Beach House is located on the west side of Roátan, right at the entrance to West End.  We are approximately 20 minutes by taxi from the airport (Juan Manuel Gálvez Airport, code RTB). Guests regularly ask what the difference is between West End and West Bay. And there is a difference, even though they are not far apart (not to mention that the West End is on a bay, and West Bay is at the end…)!

West Bay, a 15-minute water taxi ride from West End, features a beautiful beach with excellent snorkeling and diving. It has a newer, resort-style atmosphere with larger, often all-inclusive hotels and big pools. Many visitors make the easy trip—water taxis run daily for about $5 by day and $10 at night—and the ride itself is part of the experience.
